- Pre-school Program:
During this important time in a child’s life, youth athletes are
in their neuromuscular pathway years. This means the body is
primed for new information and ready to ingrain new movement
patterns. This program is conducted in 45 minute sessions
designed to introduce and create foundations of overall
coordination and athleticism in a fun, positive, and high
success environment.
The curriculum places a high priority on running techniques,
athletic coordination, balance, hand and foot coordination, and
the introduction of essential muscular movement. These are vital
in establishing a child’s athletic foundation for improved
coordination and long-term enjoyment of sports participation and
quality of life.
- Grades K-3: This program
is an expansion of the pre-school program with more difficult
and quicker reactionary programs. We will begin to introduce
sport skill to these athletes, but the main objective is to
continue to grow the overall athleticism in the player.
- Grades 3-7: Athletes
create a strong foundation of sport specific skill, sport
movements and sport athleticism. Athlete begins to learn proper
strengthening techniques, as well as speed, agility, explosive
training movements and flexibility. Functional fitness becomes
an integral part of this program, creating a fitness level
particular to the sport(s) the athlete is participating in.
- Grades 8-12: Player
begins to add/grow muscular strength, tailored to the particular
sport and its particular demands. Speed and agility are tailored
to make athlete perform at his/her peak. Large emphasis placed
on injury prevention through, flexibility and joint integrity.
This program is designed for the player to be the best he/she
can be in High School or for the serious athlete who wants to
play past High School.
